Costume and Location Research

In our film we are planning to have many different types of costumes, for example we are planning to have a character who is a rich business man which means he is going to need to be smartly dressed with blacked out sum glasses to make him look powerful. We are also planning to have some gangsters in this film which means that they are going to need to wear some dark baggy clothes, like track suits with either hoodies or with their faces covered. The next character we have planned is the person who is going to be kidnapped, his costume will only need to be basic everyday clothes because we want him to look like any other person in the public.
















We have many locations planned for where we could film, for example some one in my group is going to Barcelona, Spain which means he could film some parts there which will give us an extra location where we could film making it more interesting to watch. We also planned an abduction scene which we thought would be good to film in an built up area like a town or city like Epsom, as well we could also have the abduction scene filmed in a car park where it is quite and no one will known that is happening.

How have used media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? · Comment on your influences. In your planning where did you take some inspiration from and how did this become realised in your final productions. Include some snips and analyse in detail. We took inspiration from the film Taken which is a well know franchise which was first introduced 2008 which stared Liam Neeson and was directed by Pierre Morel, with the last of the three films being released in 2014. We took inspiration from this film because we had an idea from what our trailer was going to be about which included someone being kidnapped for what there brother has done as a kind of revenge attack. We realised in our final production that we took inspiration from the film Taken because our story line was based on a business man being held to ransom by kidnappers who took his brother because of a deal that went wrong with his past business partner.  In this image you can see

Avatar: Trailer Analysis Dramatic camera shots and angles The dramatic shots and angles in this trailer are very effective and well used because it helps to draw the audience into the film and to make them forget about every day life helping them become emerged in the film. An example of a camera shot used would be an extreme close up of the characters eyes at the start of the trailer, this camera shot is effective because it shows the audience parts of his facial expression and you are able to see into his eyes which look angry.
