The dramatic shots and angles in this trailer are very effective and well used because it helps to draw the audience into the film and to make them forget about every day life helping them become emerged in the film. An example of camera work in this trailer is when a close up of Jack Sparrow is used to show his facial expressions which change throughout the trailer, one example of his facial expression was when he looked really concentrated on the ocean ahead of him. This suggests that he has seen something which has caught his eye and is looking to get closer so he can get a better look.
