(Presentation and Feedback)

Presentation and Feedback

This video includes our presentation and our feedback, which we received from other groups in our class who happen to be also making a trailer. When listening to the feedback which we received from the class, I would say that I both agree and disagree with some of the feedback. For example, I agree that we should of added some more establishing shots to show more of the locations which we used, I also agreed that the gun shot which we used in the trailer was effective because it makes the audience want to find out more about the ending of the trailer, leaving them on a cliff hanger. Another example of when I agreed with the feedback was when some said that we should make our music more effective to the genre of our trailer, which I agree with because when watching back we could of changed the music to make it more intense in certain places which would make the trailer feel more like an action thriller trailer. One last piece of feedback which I agreed with was that we needed to make sure that the clips in the trailer fitted the whole screen because there are some parts where the clips fill the screen and others where the clips become to small which makes it look like that the trailer is zooming in and out which doesn't make it look professional. When listening to the feedback I also disagreed with some parts, for example the part when someone said that we should of filmed in more urban areas because we wanted the trailer to be different from other films which are usually always set in large urban areas. Another thing which we disagreed with was the fact that they said we could of used more filming locations to put into our trailer, we disagreed with this because we used multiple filming locations. For example we used roughly three different locations in our trailer which ranged from a school, car park, house and local locations which we were able to film in.

Overall we were very happy with the feedback which we received because it helped us become more knowledgeable of making trailers, with some improvements which we could add to make to make our overall film making process better and more professional.
